Not Much to Report

Posted on Updated on

I think this may be the calm before the holiday storm. Since Halloween not much has been going on.

Granna came over on Monday to watch GW for me so I could go get my hair done. I think they had an ok time, mom said he cried a lot. We also got mom set on Facebook.

Tuesday we went errand running…

Wednesday we had Born to Read…GW loves it…so much room to crawl. There is a little stage area in the room where the class is and GW crawled up the steps by himself.

Today, we are going to a lunch and learn at WOW about how to deal with stress of the holidays (not to mention the 9 birthdays in the next 3 months). Plus more errand running.

This afternoon and tomorrow I am going to try some new bread recipes; Chocolate Banana Bread and Chocolate Zucchini Bread.

My goal is to get all my Christmas/Birthday shopping finished before Thanksgiving that way I can really enjoy the Holidays.

Presents

Posted on Updated on

I love presents and love even more that we are getting baby presents.

Our very first baby present is from Miss Olga (a lady I work with) she made us these super cute booties:

Then the other day when I was off and out doing errands all day (blech!) I come home and there is a box on my door step. I am thinking what the heck is that? I haven’t ordered anything…oh goodness did I order something and forgot…hmmmm??? So I get the box still trying to figure what is all about, open it up and TBF sent us a fabulous pregnancy journal:

We love it!!!!! It gives you daily updates on what should be happening to your baby, things that could be happening to your body, little facts about birth in other cultures and earlier in our history, and things like…Did you know? That no matter what your practitioner does it will not determine whether your baby has an innie or an outie. It is determined by the strength of the umbilical cord. I send TD “Daily Glo-Worm Updates.”

I also went to a baby shower this weekend for another girl I work with and they had these cute little boxes with mints in them:

…I LOVE CHRISTMAS?

I do, I really do. I love the lights (which is a good things my honey drives most of the time I tend to get a bit distracted), the pretty paper, giving people gifts that they love, feeling all warm & fuzzy inside…Yeah, I totally love Christmas.

For KK we built him am awesome box fort (we had so much fun building it and he loved it):

Granna, TBN & I built my brother a sewer out of boxes for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed birthday party one year. he and all his friends loved it.
We got Bee-ya (AKA: Miss Fashionista) a pink wig to play dress up in.
We got another niece and nephew the same blocks we got Sos since they were such a hit for her.
For Sos & K-Man we are going to contribute a little bit to their college funds (I know boring, but they don’t have tons of space soooo…)
The Daddy got me a fabu purse (I have been wanting a new one for ages), a gorgeous pearl necklace and blingy tennis bracelet (he did super good)
We also got one of those digital picture frames and some other fun stuff.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!!!!
